Dr. Zaid Alsamir, D.D.S, F.I.C.O.I.
Dr. Zaid Alsamir is a native of Richmond, Virginia. He attended the University of Virginia and received his B.A. in Biology. Following his undergraduate studies, Dr. Alsamir earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. He then moved to Chicago to practice general dentistry. After a couple of years, Dr. Alsamir was excited to return to Virginia and settle back in Richmond.
He is happy to be back working in his home state alongside Dr. Trawick. Dr. Alsamir believes that excellence in dental practice requires ongoing education and commitment to strong ethical standards. He is certified in Invisalign and has completed continuing education courses on sleep apnea and full mouth reconstruction.
Dr. Alsamir enjoys hiking, banging on his drum set, playing soccer and tennis and watching movies in his free time.
Dr. Alsamir is a member of the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, Richmond Dental Society, International Team for Implantology, Seattle Study Club, American Academy of General Dentistry, and International Congress of Oral Implantologists
Dr. Donald G. Trawick, D.D.S. - Emeritus Dentist
Dr. Donald G. Trawick has been providing high quality patient centered dental health care for adults and children in Chesterfield County, Virginia for over 40 years.
He has volunteered for the Mission of Mercy(MOM) dental clinics, works with Smiles for Children, and participates in the Donated Dental Program. His commitment to providing access to dental care to those who have none led Dr. Trawick to Haiti. He has worked to take dental care to Haiti for over twenty-five years–providing care himself while leading groups of other dental professionals and helpers.
Dr. Trawick graduated form the Medical College of Virginia, School of Dentistry in 1974. He has continued his education with courses that enable him to provide state-of-the-art dental procedures.

Dr. Trawick enjoys being an active member in his community and has been a soccer coach, church member, and officer and member of the BMW Lyons’ Club. He and his wife live locally and enjoy traveling and spending time with their family.
